We’ve officially been homeschooling for three years. Happy Homeschooliversary To Us!
It’s been crazybusy, since I have been juggling a demanding job with homeschooling, but we somehow made it through the wilderness. We may be a bit battered and bruised, but we are also older and wiser. And I’m quite proud to be dispensing (limited) homeschooling advice to those who ask.
After three years of significant stress, things suddenly and dramatically changed on 31 July, when I lost a major client, and I found myself with a lot more time on my hands.
Of course, my immediate thought was how we’d cope with a big cut in the joint family income, but then my son reminded me that this means more hands-on interaction and homeschool-related outings, and how happy that made him.
“I’m quite happy that you will be more relaxed, and that we can now spend more time together…”
Who can argue with that?!?
